1. What is the difference between universal and direct-fit catalytic converters?
Universal catalytic converters are designed for flexible replacement and usually require cutting, welding or adaptation during installation. Direct-fit catalytic converters are developed according to OE number, sample, drawing or vehicle application information, so the structure is closer to the target vehicle requirement.
2. Do you supply substrates without catalyst coating?
Yes. We can supply uncoated ceramic substrates, metal substrates and selected SiC DPF related substrate products according to project requirements. Please provide the required size, shape, CPSI or technical drawing for confirmation.
3. Can you apply catalyst coating to substrates that I supply?
Yes. Catalyst coating can be discussed for customer-supplied substrates after checking substrate material, size, cell density, surface condition and application requirements. For new projects, sample testing or technical confirmation is recommended before bulk coating.
4. Can you support SiC DPF coating projects?
Yes. SiC DPF coating support is available for suitable diesel emission control applications. Please provide the substrate specification, size, cell structure, porosity if available, target application and emission requirement so our team can check the coating feasibility.
5. What information should I prepare before sending an inquiry?
For catalytic converters, please send product photos, OE number, drawing, vehicle model, engine type, year and required quantity. For substrates or coating projects, please provide material, size, shape, CPSI, application, emission requirement and whether coating is needed.
6. Can you manufacture to my custom specifications?
Yes. We support custom development based on sample, drawing, OE number or project requirements. Custom options may include substrate type, shell structure, inlet and outlet pipe, flange, bracket, oxygen sensor port, coating requirement and packaging.
7. Do you provide product samples before bulk orders?
Samples can be discussed depending on product type, customization level and technical requirements. For custom catalytic converters or coating projects, sample cost, development time and final feasibility should be confirmed before production.
